Western New York AmeriCorps Creates Space for Growth
A crew from Western New York AmeriCorps is building wooden boxes to be part of a rooftop garden project above Buffalo’s Broadway market. The plots will be free to local residents. One of the people behind the design is architect Anne Perry, "It's about saving money, it's about building community, it's about a lot of things that just have a long benefit even after the food is consumed," Perry said.
